Our Sunday evening 5:30 Eucharist is enhanced by music from the French community at Taize. These short songs, repeated again and again, allow a meditative character. Using just a few words, they express a basic reality of faith, quickly and easily grasped by the mind and the heart. The repetition of words gradually penetrates the whole being, so this becomes a way of listening to God.
Jeannette Hirasawa-Moore plays piano for most Sunday services; Charly Spining, Mary Anne Bruner, and others also play.
