The purpose of the Newcomer Program is for each person entering Epiphany's doors to feel acknowledged, welcomed, and (with their consent) personally connected to one or more other members of Epiphany.
We make conscious efforts through our leadership to develop and encourage the use of sustainable personal contact methods and tools to help newcomers feel 'at home' at Epiphany. We help coordinate phone, e-mail, personal contacts, and periodic Newcomer Celebration dinners and events to help newcomers feel encouraged to return to Epiphany. If people feel welcomed and 'at home', they are more likely to want to be part of our Epiphany family.
