Hospital Visitors

This volunteer ministry is devoted to supporting our faith community's needs spiritually, emotionally and physically by providing comfort, prayer and a smile to those who are hospitalized in our faith community. A hospital visitor's main job is to assure the hospitalized person that we care and are remembering them in our prayers for healing. Hospital visitors are responsible for making each visit a "confidential" one unless the patient requests otherwise. The main job of the hospital visitor is to offer support and notify the church office if the patient desires the Eucharist or to be placed on the prayer chain. The hospital visitors are under the direction of the Parish Nurse and are part of the Pastoral Care Team. A hospital visitor is a volunteer and is not usually trained medically. Please contact Terri Wilson R.N., Parish Nurse, if you are interested in being a member of this wonderful ministry.
